Florence Chaspoul
I'm a chemical engineer at amU, where I work mainly in analytical chemistry. My role is to detect and quantify molecules for various research projects, whether for in-house teams or private entities. At the same time, I train students and PhD candidates in the use of laboratory equipment. My work lies at the interface between scientific research and teaching, with a particular focus on the fields of health and the environment.
I joined amU thanks to opportunities in scientific research, after being approached for a research contract. The quality of the projects and the support of my superiors have enabled me to progress within the university. This framework allows me to get away from the routine of the private sector and work on projects that make sense to me, in line with my scientific convictions.
I specialize in analytical chemistry, which involves detecting and quantifying molecules using sophisticated equipment. I've worked on environmental projects, such as the analysis of metals in animals and plants, and I'm now focusing on materials for healthcare. I also have expertise in training, where I accompany students and PhD students in the use of analytical techniques.
