We make quality of life at work a priority. We are deploying measures and resources to enable everyone to carry out their work in the best possible conditions, notably by reconciling their professional and personal lives. In 2022, 81% of staff said they felt good at AMU.

Our ambition is to make our campuses fulfilling and successful places to live. We pay great attention to the comfort of our staff in their workstations and workplaces. The campuses are animated by sports and cultural activities that contribute to the well-being of all.

The missions of our staff are varied and mobilize diverse skills, on local and international projects. They enable each and every one of us to play a positive role in the service of our region and society.
We offer our staff concrete missions that are part of innovative and structuring projects for the university, and that contribute to the success of our students. In a spirit of a priori trust, our staff enjoy a high degree of autonomy in carrying out their tasks.
Throughout their careers, our employees have access to training plans and individual schemes to enrich and develop their skills: talent schools, skills assessments, VAE, CFP, CP. We give them time to learn, and support them in their career development or retraining plans. Nearly half of all positions are open to internal mobility.

Recognized for our civic values, we are constantly striving to promote equality, inclusion and diversity through ambitious and often pioneering initiatives. Throughout the year, we organize awareness-raising, information and training initiatives to combat all forms of discrimination and violence.

Putting solidarity to work

Creating a place for professional success and personal fulfillment means combating precariousness, particularly among students. A number of schemes have been set up to help students in difficulty build their professional and personal projects, including financial aid, a healthcare access network and community grocery stores.

Acting for sustainable development

Sustainable development is a priority and a new stage in our strategy. We have a dedicated department and a Climate Council. With them, we are driving forward an ambitious roadmap and policies, translated into concrete actions for all our communities.
