As Communications Officer, you will propose and implement internal and external communications initiatives tailored to the various audiences, in line with the establishment's overall strategy and communications plan. More specifically, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the communications strategy. You will draw up and implement the structure's editorial policy, particularly on the Internet. You produce communication products and manage projects (specifications, budget, coordination, financial, legal and logistical follow-up, etc.). You organize institutional and special events. Maintain and develop internal and external communication networks. You act as a communications consultant. You manage a team, ensure ongoing relations with the media and monitor the quality and deadlines of subcontracted work.
As Communications Assistant, your role will be to support the Web and Events departments in managing the day-to-day tasks of the department. On the web side, you will support the web project manager in his tasks, contributing to the development of the external website and intranet by regularly putting various types of content online. You will retrieve existing web content, reorganize it if necessary and publish it. You will also write and produce content in line with the company's editorial charter. You will support and mobilize the university's departments in the organization of their new content, on the website and intranet. You will validate information and images before they are used. As regards events, you will assist the communications manager in the preparation and logistical organization of the event. You will write the weekly newsletter for amU staff, as well as the newsletter for students. You will collect and format information for various media and monitor the indicators set up for the amU Newsletter.
As a Scientific Communications Officer, you will be responsible for implementing internal and external communications initiatives aimed at different audiences, mainly through digital channels. You will popularize amU's research work for the general public. You promote amU's scientific activities, in conjunction with other university departments, research laboratories and all components. You will collect, verify and format information, in French and English, to feed into various existing or future media, such as the scientific web magazine INFUSE. You are also involved in the material and logistical aspects of scientific and public events (symposia, trade shows, press conferences, etc.), working with internal and external partners. You will be responsible for media monitoring and for coordinating the network of scientific popularization communication referents.
