Nassim Aouchiche

I'm a Data Analyst at the University of Aix-Marseille (AMU). My role mainly involves working on a major project to set up a decision-making information system. This involves creating a website with dashboards to facilitate decision-making at different management levels. I'm responsible for collecting and processing data in various areas, such as finance, human resources and research. My work includes building data warehouses, developing indicators, and interacting with various internal and external players.

My career path: Before joining AMU, I worked in the private sector at Intersport, where I used my marketing skills to encourage consumption. However, after three years, I felt the need to give more meaning to my work and to invest myself in something that would be more in line with my values. I therefore decided to reorientate myself towards a more meaningful field, which led me to move to Marseille for both personal and professional reasons.
How did I join AMU?: I arrived at AMU in September 2020, in the middle of the post-COVID period. I joined the team as part of a challenging project to implement a decision-making information system. My appointment coincided with the project's acceleration phase, and I was recruited to be autonomous in the management and development of this complex project.
My areas of expertise: I specialize in data management and analysis, the development of performance indicators, and the construction of decision-making information systems. I also have expertise in project management, which enables me to communicate effectively with diverse user profiles and adapt solutions to their specific needs.
