International relations
The International Relations Department manages international cooperation, student and teacher mobility, and inter-university agreements. It also coordinates responses to calls for international projects, enhances amU's international visibility and ensures the integration of international users. These missions are carried out by specialized staff within the central DRI and the campus DRIs.
Focus
International Relations at university
Cooperation officers are experts in higher education in a specific geographical area: Mediterranean-Africa, the Americas, Asia or Europe. They prospect, monitor and develop partnerships with foreign universities, facilitating student mobility. They coordinate the teaching community, organize the hosting of foreign delegations and travel to their zone for trade fairs or meetings with partners. They supervise the drafting of agreements, which requires legal expertise and attention to detail, and update amU's agreement registration tools.
On campus, mobility managers advise and support students, lecturers and staff in their international mobility projects. They process grant applications and awards, organize international awareness-raising events and coordinate the reception and orientation of international students. Their work requires rigorous administrative management, notably using the MoveOn tool.
Project managers are familiar with the various funding sources (Erasmus+, Interreg Med, ANR, etc.). They help project leaders prepare and submit projects to funding agencies, organize internal and international meetings, and monitor projects. They support structuring projects and participate in the animation of strategic networks to maintain a rich network of partners.
