Aix-Marseille Université's Financial Affairs Department (DAF) implements budgetary and financial policy in partnership with the Governance Department, while providing expert advice to ensure the institution's financial sustainability. It prepares the budgetary boards of directors and coordinates management dialogue and the budgetary orientation debate, working closely with the Human Resources Department to set the framework for resources. In liaison with the accounting agency, the CFO ensures that financial risks are kept under control, and that budgetary accounting is properly maintained. At the same time, it promotes a solid financial culture within the university through training courses and the coordination of financial networks (administrative directors, managers). Under the authority of the DGAS Pôle pilotage et ressources, the DAF supports the university in its strategic financial decisions.
