- AMIDEX stands for "Aix-Marseille Initiative d'Excellence", a program designed to promote excellence in higher education and research at Aix-Marseille University. The program provides financial support for innovative, interdisciplinary initiatives to enhance the quality of teaching, research and partnerships with industry.

- BIATSS
- BIATSS is an acronym for administrative, technical, social and healthcare staff working in higher education and research establishments in France. This includes librarians, engineers, administrators, technicians, health and social personnel.
